POs are novice to moderately experienced product owners who perform product owner functions under the supervision of an SPO. POs are the primary focal point for requirements validation and operational taskings for their aligned customer. 

Qualification for PO is achieved utilizing commercial training and certification along with completion of the PO JQR. 

PO Duties Include: 

• Develop relationships with customers and potential customers to understand core mission set. 

• Work with the Tool Champion to write user stories, acceptance criteria, and other attributes. 

• Responsible for end-to-end ownership of the product and maximizing value of the product to the customer. 

• Serves as voice of the operator during daily development activities. 

• Ultimately responsible for maximizing value to the customer through iterative and incremental releases of cyber capabilities. 

• Manages the Product Backlog by working with the team to enter, refine, and prioritize the product backlog.
